IMA SCHELLING GROUP - USA
ADMINISTRATIVE MARKETING ASSISTANT
The IMA Schelling Group has given me the opportunity to exercise the study of public relations and marketing. Currently, I assist the CFO and Controller for the USA branch, taking on scheduling, maintenance and internal/external communications. Residing in the Raleigh, NC area has opened my role to a variety of enterprises, both private and public, for the IMA Schelling Group to participate in. I have learned the company’s values, mission, goals and the attitude that which brings it to new heights each quarter.
Beginning in November of 2025 offered me insight into how the “holiday craze” that affects most businesses is prepped for and ultimately handled. Throughout the remainder of winter, I implemented marketing facets to the sales, parts and services sectors who interact with customers almost entirely throughout the machine procurement and distribution process. By introducing a communication procedure form, the sectors mentioned above were able to track the progress of each machine in any part of the process, inducing collaboration at a productive scale and properly tracking down errors throughout the process for similar, future situations. Entering in the data from this communication procedure into the accessible record helped staff understand the detailed responsibilities that bleed into other sectors and pick up/drop off any information that would be best handled by a specific person or department. By bettering relaying information and informing the acknowledged data inspired the on-site customer visits I maintained, allowing me to infer with customers on a more personal-level in order to align their wants and needs with the best-served communication solution.
Throughout my time as an administrative marketing assistant, I transitioned from an administrative role to an internal marketing role, and being part of the team that followed newsworthy leads to better acclimate to the 2026 manufacturing economic atmosphere. In researching target audiences, overall interests of the niche marketplace and developing cost-effective strategies for the coming months of predetermined trade shows, conferences and workshops, I curated content for the USA branch on social media platforms—in short-form video & written visual content. This not only allowed me to transition the quantitative data to forms for more qualitative means, but reinvented the way in which our target audiences were staying educated and up-to-date through the lens of our foundational values.
